CBD Fair and Market – San Antonio Texas

Saturday, August 3rd, marked the second San Antonio CBD (cannabidiol) Fair and Market. The event at The Brick at Blue Star was the second of its kind after the first CBD Fair and Market launched back in July of 2019. The venue buzzed with excitement as the unique set of vendors set up and curious visitors in the area were seen tempted to peer into what could be occurring inside The Brick that afternoon.

CBD Representation

Gathered inside over 40 vendors ranging from local retail stores, bakeries, and mobile merchants set up their tables to proudly display their products and goods for the public. Once the doors opened, and guests filled up the site, it was clear that as they moved through the booths that their curiosity about CBD sparked their desire to talk about cannabis and hear what the vendors had to say about products, services, and CBD educational resources.

While it initially sounds counterproductive to have multiple CBD vendors in one room, the event’s goal was to provide the public with a centralized location to experience CBD brands they may have never heard of or had access to based on their location.

And the verity was provided.

The representation ranged from Stone Oak, Alamo Heights, South Town, an

d others who joined to show what cannabis products they provide. Additionally, guests had the opportunity to mingle with the faces behind brands such as Plantyful Sweets, SaintMea, The Bexar Body Co, and The Bearded Baking Company.

The event also offered participates to meet new faces with the CBD community, such as Wild Seed Hemp who until recently only sold wholesale and white-labeled before selling their products directly to the public. In fact, their dedication to the San Antonio CBD community inspired a strain called “Wildseed Hemp Kush” they grew for its new San Antonio location that will be opening soon.

Future of CBD Markets in Texas

Kevin Prince, The founder of the San Antonio CBD Meet-Up, began to organize CBD events once he recognized, after his first CBD Meetup in April of 2019, that the cannabis landscape in Texas was growing quickly and that people were asking for access to a variety of CBD products and education regarding the plant.

Prince wants to continue to host markets and has announced on his website that The San Antonio CBD Fair and Market will purse to be a monthly market. Vendors are encouraged to contact him via e-mail if they are interested in a vending opportunity.

“We are giving the consumer a variety to choose from and showcase” – Kevin Prince

Kevin wants to give the consumer a variety of choices when selecting CBD. By fostering the relationship with the consumer, brands are becoming better at identifying the needs of the consumer while the consumer continues to be educated about the product and explore the different uses of the plant.

Registration is open for all sizes of businesses for the next CBD Fair and Market. All are welcomed and encouraged to sign up to participate.

The next San Antonio Meet up is planned for September 14th and details will be announced over Facebook and the San Antonio Meetup event page.
