Hello Texans,
The Department of Health and Human Services is asking the public for formal comments on the Texas hemp rules. These rules are to be submitted by June 8, 2020. And according to the Texas Norml, these rules would take into effect in July of 2020 with the earliest being June of 2020.
This is a quick video on how to comment on the Texas Hemp Rules. The state of Texas is trying to ban the manufacture, processing, distribution, or retail sale of consumable hemp products.
As a Texan whether you benefit from cannabis, or you know someone who does, you have a voice and the ability to comment on Texas rules to keep that from happening! For more information, watch the video, click the links below, and write to Dr. Rod Moline that you do not want Texas Hemp to be banned.
How to Comment using the Texas Norml Website
- Go to the Texas Norml Website: Texas Consumable Hemp Product Rules Open for Formal Comment
- Read through the proposed rules and the content in the blog post and check out the highlights.
- Highly recommend familiarizing yourself with the rules and note any information that is important to you
- Read through the proposed rules and the content in the blog post and check out the highlights.
- Fill in your contact information on their form located in the middle of the page.
- Click “Start Writing”
- On the left, a box will have a letter prewritten
- Read through it, add any information you’d like to highlight
- Sign your name at the bottom (if you want)
- Click “send letter”
- It will take you to a page thanking you for your support and ask you to share the form
